Justin Fitchett is the founder of Flat Rate Financial Inc., an advice-only financial planning firm created to help individuals and families make confident financial decisions without sales pressure. His approach combines technical expertise, practical experience, and a client-first philosophy focused on helping people clarify their goals, understand their options, and build financial plans that support their lives.

Justin holds a Bachelor of Commerce with a concentration in finance and a minor in economics from Carleton University, as well as an MBA from Ivey Business School. He began his career working for a financial planner, where he developed an early understanding of the importance of clear, personalized advice. He later earned his CPA designation and worked in audit with national accounting firms, gaining a strong foundation in financial reporting, controls, and professional judgment. Alongside Flat Rate Financial Inc., Justin also offers accounting and tax services through his accounting firm Kawartha Lakes Accounting.

Before founding Flat Rate Financial Inc., Justin worked on Bay Street for an ultra-high net worth single family office, further deepening his experience with complex financial matters and long-term planning. In 2025, he earned his CFP designation with the intent of launching his own advice-only firm, where he could provide objective guidance to people seeking to meet their financial goals without the influence of product sales or commissions.
